The story behind Love, Peace and Chocolate..

What do you do when you’ve always been crazy about chocolate, burst with creativity and also want to make the world a bit more beautiful?
This is how Annet Schottert came up with the idea of creating her own bar of chocolate.

Above all it had to be an irresistibly good bar of chocolate. One also made with love, because that’s what you taste!

This bar of chocolate also had to be the perfect present that you can happily give to someone. “That’s why there is space inside the packaging where you can write your personal message and why Love, Peace and Chocolate donates 50% of its profit to SOS Children’s Villages. It’s a very good cause that I fully support. This international organisation ensures that children without anybody to look after them, grow up in a loving family in their country of birth.”

Love, Peace and Chocolate is new at Concept. Enjoy!

We’re ready for spring!

In store expo: drawings by Marcia Nagelmaeker

Our first in store expo will open February 10th, 2012 at 19.30h.  Featured artist is Marcia Nagelmaeker.

Marcia graduated as a teacher in fine arts. She’s currently works as a freelance illustrator and is the proud owner of ToutouRouge.

Marcia on her work: “Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to create things to make my environment, and my toys environment, a bit nicer, like cardboard houses for my stuffed animals completely furnished and decorated.
I’ve always enjoyed living in my own little world, my world behind the real world. Nowadays I still feel like making things that make the world a little bit nicer… I want to make people smile, make people happy with the things I create.”

Want to see Marcia’s world behind the real world? Come visit our shop! Marcia’s drawings will be there until the end of March. You are also welcome at the opening party on February 10th, for an evening of art, fashion, drinks, music and shopping (of course..) See you then!
